Youth Recreation and Facilities Coordinator

The City of Monticello is accepting applications for a full time Youth Recreation and Facilities Coordinator.  The position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing a range of recreational programs and activities for children and teens, while also overseeing the maintenance, scheduling, and proper use of parks and recreation facilities.  This position focuses on creating engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate programs that promote physical activity, social interaction, and community involvement.  Additionally, the role collaborates closely with the parks maintenance team to ensure recreational spaces are safe, clean, and ready for use.  A full job description is available upon request.  This is a salaried, non-exempt position with a starting wage of $38,000-$43,000 and offers an attractive benefits package.  Send resume and cover letter to Director of Parks and Recreation - Jacob Oswald at joswald@ci.monticello.ia.us.  The City of Monticello is an equal opportunity employer.
