Director of Parks and Recreation

*  Plans, formulates and implements short-and long-term goals for parks and recreational activities.

* Prepares, reviews, analyzes and presents operations budgets, prepares capital improvement budget

* Meets with community and business groups to establish community partnerships

*Seeks grants, rental, or sponsorship opportunities for Parks and Rec Projects

*Organizes, participates, and supervises the concessions stand during programs and events

*Schdeule activities and events in cooperations with the school district and civic groups

*Provide overall direction to the city's aquatic program and the maintenance and operation of the municipal swimming pool.  Assures all OSHA regulations and safety procedures are followed by Park & Rec mployees, volunteers, coaches and all participating individuals
