Pleva Mechanical Inc, established in 1981, is a family owned and operated mechanical contractor built on the foundation that every project and account is important. In 1992, we expanded into the Aquatic Industry and over the past 32 years have worked on a variety of projects from the largest municipal aquatic centers, indoor YMCAs, and high school competition pools to apartment and high-end residential pools.
This year, we are focused on strengthening our aquatic service team and are seeking exemplary individuals with experience in the aquatic industry who want to help operators run the best swimming pools in the Midwest.
Job Summary
Pleva Commercial Pools, a Division of Pleva Mechanical Inc, is actively pursuing up to two confident and eager individual to join our sales team full-time, year-round.
The ideal candidates will take the lead as the main point of contact with aquatic facilities where Pleva Mechanical has previously serviced as well as cultivating relationships with newly constructed facilities and all other facilities in your area. In addition to Sales, this role will focus on providing clients outstanding solutions and support.
Service, Equipment, Chemical & Renovation Sales Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct sales calls and site visits to generate new business opportunities
- Understand pool water chemistry – Test and balance where needed
- Help keep facility chemical stock up to date
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues for equipment including pump, filter, chemical controller, UV and other mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues
- Inform clients on options that best fit their requirements
- Conduct product demonstrations for potential clients
- Inform clients of price breakdowns
- Coordinate with the service department to determine the scheduling and then inform the client on estimated service or delivery
- Negotiate contracts, close deals and process POs to meet sales targets
- Utilize CRM software daily to track leads, sales, and follow-ups
- Develop and maintain product literature files to ensure the most current and accurate information is always provided to clients
- Attend trade shows, sales events, etc.
Qualifications
- Aquatic industry experience preferred
- Proven experience in commercial sales a plus
- Must hold a valid Driver's License and have a good driving record
- Must be comfortable using social media to promote sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation
- Starting hourly pay @ $25/hr; Rate Negotiable
- Commission on all sales opportunities including equipment, chemical, new construction, renovation, and service contracts - residual commission on chemical and service contracts
- Anticipated income range between $58K to $82K; up to $100K or more

Pay: $58,000.00 - $82,000.00+ per year
