Description

This intensive is designed for recreation supervisors, program coordinators, facility managers, inclusion specialists, department leaders, and anyone responsible for creating accessible parks and recreation experiences. Conversations will continue over lunch (self-pay) at Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City. Leave with practical tools and fresh ideas to create more inclusive parks and recreation experiences. Gain strategies for improving communication and customer service, build confidence in responding to accessibility questions, strengthen your understanding of ADA responsibilities, and discover actionable ways to enhance accessibility within your own agency.
