PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER

The Boone City Parks is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Park Maintenance Worker/Certified Pool Operator (CPO) with an emphasis in turf management. Applicants must possess knowledge of tree care, turf maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and welding. Must be a high school graduate or G.E.D equivalent, possess a valid class B CDL or ability to obtain one after hire, and possess a Certified Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain certification after hire. Most work will be out of doors and can include extreme weather. Applicant must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. This is a full-time position with a starting wage of $39,953 per year and excellent benefits.
