Job Title: Lifeguard

Job Summary:

We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and safety-minded Lifeguard to join our team! In this role, you’ll help keep everyone safe and comfortable while they enjoy our pool — including individuals with disabilities who may need a little extra support. If you’re someone who stays calm under pressure, enjoys working with people of all abilities, and doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves to help keep the space clean and safe, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Keeping a close eye on swimmers and making sure everyone is safe in and around the water.
• Responding quickly and confidently in emergencies, including performing rescues, CPR, and first aid if needed.
• Testing the water regularly to make sure it stays clean and safe (you’ll be trained on how to do this).
• Helping to keep the pool and surrounding areas clean — this includes locker rooms, bathrooms, and pool decks.
• Gently enforcing pool rules so everyone can have a fun and safe experience.
• Reporting any safety or maintenance issues right away.
• Attending training and safety drills to keep your skill’s sharpened.

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who is at least 16–18 years old (depending on location).
• Able to obtain Lifeguard Certification, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Comfortable working with people of all ages and abilities in a respectful, supportive way.
• Willingness to help with cleaning duties and water testing — teamwork matters!
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a bonus but not required — kindness and patience are most important.
• Reliable, friendly, calm under pressure, good judgment and attention to detail.

Work Environment:

• You’ll be working poolside — indoors or outdoors — and will need to be on your feet or in the water for much of your shift.
• You may be asked to work weekends, holidays, or flexible hours depending on the schedule.
• Cleaning supplies and pool chemicals are part of the job, but training and support are provided.
