The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a motivated professional to assist in planning, developing, and managing community recreation programs, the Vinton Community Pool, and special events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Park Management, or related field
- 2+ years of leadership experience in Parks & Recreation
- Valid Iowa driver’s license (insurable)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or ability to obtain within 60 days
Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.

Compensation Package
Annual Salary
- Range: $50,000 – $65,000
- Starting salary based on education, experience, or a combination of both
